letter

Dear jack, how are things going for you. How’s uncle bob and ant Jill. Are you guys coming back for Easter? I heard you where conscription to go to war to help Taiwan against red china. I don’t know if you made your mind yet but if you haven’t I think you should go it would be the right thing to do but I would understand if you don’t go. Because it would be a big commitment but when the U.S. said they would help stop the spread of communist I think they should stick to their word and you should help them. When Martin Luther King JR said kill them with kindness well I think it a little late to kill them with kindness. Because there is no making them change their mind and it not like the people in china are going to start being civil disobedience  so there no way to stop them for going to war so we half to help them. And then Gandhi thought you should protest bet again I think it to late for that but if you deiced to do that I just think it would be a waste of your time when if you want to change it go fight in the war. When Thoreau did pay his poll tax and went to jail instead of just paying it so my question for you is  are you willing to go jail for not go to the war well if you are I think it would be stupid but if would I’d trust you. When Leo Tolstoy went on hung strike to prost a war are you will to die on hung strike to not go to war.  Well I better get back to work I just hope you don’t take the passive resistance and chose to go to war but I will still accept whatever way you chose to go and I hope you will help Formosa beat peoples republic of china.

Your cousin Brett.
